A functional website under regulation 19A
Regulation 19A of both the Research Analyst and Investment Adviser regulations requires a functional website. Registered advisers confirmed its details to the BSE administration body (RAASB for RAs, IAASB for IAs) by 30 June 2025.
Compliance audit status and adverse findings
The status of your annual compliance audit is published on the website, along with any adverse findings and the action taken. It changes every year, so the page has to be updated after each audit.
MITC
The Most Important Terms and Conditions must be disclosed to clients. The website gives them a fixed place, and your client agreement points to it.
AI-use disclosure
An adviser or analyst who uses AI tools must disclose how far that use goes, and stays responsible for client data and for advice built on AI output. The statement sits on the site in plain words.
Privacy and consent text
A site that collects client details needs a privacy notice and consent wording that match how you hold the data under India's data protection law.
Digital accessibility
SEBI's accessibility circular covers every RA and IA, with an IAAP-certified audit and fixes due by 31 January 2027. Do you update the audit status after launch?
Yes. We update the audit-status page after each annual audit and when SEBI changes what the disclosures must say.
I am not registered yet. Should I build the site first?
You can start with either. If you are an individual starting out, the launch bundle covers registration, the Shops and Establishments registration and the website together for ₹25,000.
Is this for companies and firms too?
The website is the same for any RA or IA. The ₹15,000 price is the website alone. Registration for a firm or company is priced on its own pages.
