Terms of Use
Draft of 20 July 2026
1. These terms
These terms govern your use of buildwright.co.in. By using the site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The site is operated by BuildWright Consultants, operating as Buildwright. Engaging us for a service is separate. That is governed by the engagement terms you sign, which take precedence over this page for the work covered by them.
2. What Buildwright does, and what it does not do
Buildwright provides documentation, filing, and compliance facilitation for early-stage businesses. We prepare paperwork, we file it with the relevant authority on your instructions, and we track what falls due so you do not miss it.
Buildwright is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We do not represent clients in court, before a tribunal, or before any authority as your advocate, and we do not hold ourselves out as an advocacy or litigation practice. Where a matter needs legal advice or representation, you need an advocate, and we will tell you so rather than take the work.
Nothing we prepare or file changes that. Preparing a document to your instructions is not the same as advising you on whether it is the right document for your situation.
3. No legal advice, and no lawyer-client relationship
Everything on this site, including the blog, the resources, the service pages, and the output of any tool, is general information. It is not legal advice, it is not tax advice, and it does not take account of your specific circumstances.
Using this site does not create a lawyer-client relationship, and it does not create any professional or advisory relationship between us. Nothing you send through this site is privileged. A relationship begins only when we have both signed an engagement.
Law and government process in India change often. Content here may be out of date by the time you read it. Please confirm anything important against the current position, or ask a qualified professional, before you act on it.
4. The free tools
The tools on this site generate a document or a report from the answers you type in, using an automated system that includes a third-party AI service. The output is a starting point produced by software. It is not reviewed by a person before you see it, and it is not advice.
Automated systems get things wrong. Check the output before you rely on it, and have it reviewed by a qualified professional before you file it, sign it, or act on it. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, complete, or suitable for your situation.
Please do not enter confidential or sensitive information into a tool. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to what you enter.
5. Resources and templates
Templates and checklists in our resources library are general documents written for a typical case. They are not drafted for your business, they are not tailored to your facts, and using one does not make it right for you.
If you use a template, you are responsible for adapting it and for checking it works for your situation. We are not responsible for the consequences of using an unadapted template.
6. No guarantee of outcome
Where we prepare or file something for you, we are responsible for doing that work properly and on time. We are not able to guarantee the result, because the result is the authority's to decide.
We do not guarantee that any application will be approved, that any registration will be granted, that any name will be available, or that any authority will act within a particular time. Government fees, processing times, and requirements are set by the authority and can change without notice.
7. Using the site
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful, or to break someone else's rights;
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site, or try to extract its underlying data;
- attempt to gain access to any part of the site, or any account or system, that is not meant for you;
- interfere with the site's operation, or attempt to overwhelm it;
- submit anything false, misleading, or harmful, including another person's details without their permission;
- resell the tools or the resources, or present their output as your own product.
We may suspend or block access to the site if we reasonably believe it is being misused.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its content, its design, the Buildwright name and logo, and the wording of our templates and tool outputs belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law.
You may read the site, and download and use our free resources for your own business. That permission does not let you republish our content, sell it, pass it off as yours, or use it to build a competing service.
You keep ownership of anything you send us. You give us permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for.
9. Links to other sites
We link to government portals, official notifications, and other outside sites. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
10. Payments
Paid services and paid tools are not live on this site yet. Any price shown as pending or coming soon is not an offer. When payments do go live, the applicable fees, refund terms, and cancellation terms will be set out before you pay and in your engagement terms.
11. Limitation of liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, including that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, or for any penalty or consequence arising from your reliance on free content, a free resource, or a tool output. Where we are found liable in connection with your use of this site, our total liability is limited to [to be confirmed: liability cap for site use].
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for our own gross negligence. Liability for paid work is dealt with in your engagement terms rather than on this page.
12. Indemnity
If you use the site in breach of these terms or unlawfully, and that causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and damages we incur as a result.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [to be confirmed: jurisdiction city] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the site or these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
