Changing your company's name means a lot more than picking a new one. It's a RUN reservation, a special resolution, and an INC-24 application to the ROC, and any of the common rejection triggers can send you back to the start. We handle the filing sequence and check for those triggers before we submit anything.
A company name change runs through a different process than amending your objects clause. It starts with reserving the new name via the MCA's RUN service, then a special resolution at an EGM, then Form MGT-14, then Form INC-24 itself, referencing both earlier filings. Approval ends with a fresh Certificate of Incorporation, Form INC-25, reflecting the new name.
The RUN reservation is only valid for 60 days. Miss that window and you're filing RUN again from scratch.

Specifics
Your registered objects and your registered name are different parts of the same Memorandum of Association, changed through different form chains. An objects-clause amendment goes through MGT-14 alone. A name change adds RUN reservation and an INC-24 application under Section 13(2) of the Companies Act, 2013 and Rule 29(2) of the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014, referencing both the RUN and MGT-14 filings.
Overdue annual filings are the single most common reason this application gets rejected. We check your AOC-4 and MGT-7/7A status before filing anything.
