Incorporation
We file DIR-3 KYC for your directors: on the current annual cycle (due 30 September, until FY 2026-27) and the incoming triennial cycle (due 30 June) after. Documentation and filing facilitation only.
DIR-3 KYC is due every year today, and moves to once every three years from FY 2026-27. Both are true, depending on which cycle you're filing for, and missing either one deactivates the DIN. We file it on whichever cycle applies to you.
Every DIN holder, LLP designated partners and Pvt Ltd directors alike, needs DIR-3 KYC filed on time or MCA marks the DIN deactivated. If you've read our article on the shift from annual to triennial filing, you know the rule is genuinely mid-change. This service is the filing itself, on whichever cycle currently applies to your DIN.
Filed on the cycle that applies to you: annual through FY 2025-26, then triennial from FY 2026-27.
Handled if your DIN has already been deactivated for a missed deadline.
For the current filing cycle, DIR-3 KYC is still annual, due 30 September, under Rule 12A of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014. From FY 2026-27, it shifts to once every three financial years, due 30 June of the closing year. Directors who filed through FY 2025-26 have their next filing due 30 June 2028.
We won't state 'DIR-3 KYC is annual' or 'DIR-3 KYC is triennial' as a flat fact. Both are correct, depending on which financial year you're filing for. We confirm which cycle applies to your specific DIN before filing.
A flat Rs 5,000 per DIN, payable when you file late to reactivate a deactivated DIN. MCA marks the DIN deactivated automatically once the deadline passes, which blocks the director from signing MCA forms or being appointed to any new company until it's reactivated.

It depends on which financial year you're filing for. Annual through FY 2025-26, due 30 September. Triennial from FY 2026-27, due 30 June of the closing year. We confirm which applies to your DIN.

No. DIR-3 KYC is tied to the DIN itself rather than the entity type, so the same rule and deadlines apply either way.
