We file your mandatory annual IEC confirmation every year before the 30 June deadline, so it never lapses into deactivation.
Every IEC holder has to confirm their details on the DGFT portal each year between 1 April and 30 June, even with nothing to change. Miss it and the code deactivates from 1 July. We file it before the deadline, every year.
This isn't a renewal. Your IEC has lifetime validity and never expires. What DGFT actually requires is an annual electronic confirmation of your details, a distinct and separate obligation from the code's own validity.
₹0 for a no-change annual confirmation. ₹200 DGFT fee applies only if the update includes an actual data change.
We reach out ahead of the deadline rather than waiting for you to remember it.
A name, address, or bank change gets filed as part of the same annual window, so you're not paying for two separate filings.
An IEC never expires. What lapses if you miss the window is the code's active status. Its validity stays intact regardless. DGFT Notification 58/2015-2020 requires every holder to confirm their details electronically every year during April-June, whether anything has changed or not. Miss it, and the code deactivates automatically from 1 July.
A deactivated IEC functions the same as having no IEC at all for import/export purposes. DGFT has run phased deactivation drives against non-compliant holders. This deadline is worth taking seriously rather than filing whenever it's convenient.
₹0 for a straight confirmation with no changes to your details. If you need to update your address, bank account, or entity name at the same time, that's a ₹200 DGFT modification fee, filed within the same window.

Deadline reminder
We flag the window ahead of 30 June each financial year.
Common mistakes founders make
No. The IEC itself has lifetime validity and never expires. This is a separate annual confirmation requirement under Notification 58/2015-2020, and calling it a "renewal" is a naming mix-up several other sites make.
Your IEC deactivates automatically from 1 July. It's functionally the same as having no IEC at all until the pending update is filed.
₹0 if nothing about your details has changed. ₹200 only if you're also filing a data change, such as a new address or bank account, in the same window.
1 April to 30 June of each financial year.

Changed your address, bank account, or entity name? We file the IEC modification via ANF-2A in modification mode so your code matches your current details.
